Windows has what is called a clipboard. Its purpose to to hold data or objects so that they may be copied to/from one application to another. This is a powerful tool that allows you to avoid tedious and error introducing re-typing of text and data. Ferret32 takes advantage of the Clipboard feature. As in Ferret32 and most other Windows, Cut, Paste and Copy are also available from a pull down menu. Cut and Paste may be used to add to existing data records. You can see an example of this in action by going to the Phone Numbers or any other List Search ![]() The path to this program is: C:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe You can use ClipBook Viewer to view information you have copied to the Clipboard. You do not have to have the viewer running in order to use the clipboard.
