Division

Direct supervision of Design Drafting, Document Control, and
Configuration Management.  Department was
responsible for all documentation and control of same for division.  All
documents adhered to military,
ANSI, and/or commercial standards.  Types of documents created included
electrical, electronic and
mechanical drawings; specifications, standards and procedures; and all
types of lists.  Document Control
consisted of ECO/ECP (Engineering Change Order/Proposal) control of
documents, maintaining files,
microfilming, and distribution.  Configuration Management provided
control over ECO/ECP activity,
interfaces with customers, and Product Assurance, performed and/or
attended FCA/PCA
(Functional/Physical Configuration Audit) and PDR/CDR
(Preliminary/Critical Design Review).  Design
Drafting provided design, detailing and checking of all product
documentation for the division.  Created and published a set of
Documentation Standards for use within the division.  Also responsible
for making bids on upcoming
contracts for documentation requirements and scheduling of all inputs
into the department.

Head, Design Drafting Department for Tube Division

same for the division.  All documents adhered to Military, ANSI and/or

documents created included mechanical drawings; specifications,

files; reproduction of all documents; and design, detailing and checking
of all products for the division.

Senior Designer and Design Drafter, Tube Division

Design parts and fixtures for assembly, test and manufacture of all
products in division.  Working closely with
engineers, technicians, machine shop, purchasing and production
control.  Performed checking of lower
position drafters.  Made layouts to ensure products conformed to
customer required configurations.
Responsible for all documentation requirements for any given project.

Senior Drafter, Tube Division

Design fixtures used for assembly and test from layouts of products made
by designers.  Make detail
drawings of all parts, assemblies and fixtures and create bills of
material.  In charge of ECO system to ensure
all documentation was properly revised and distributed.

Drafter A and B, Tube Division

Made simple drawings from sketches and/or verbal instructions.  Revised
documents per the ECO system or
red-lined prints.

Drafting Clerk, Tube Division

Made prints and reproducibles via blueline or Xerox machines for use in
all phases of production and
drafting.  Serviced documentation stations and kept all documents in
secure files.
